Bicycle storage rooms (like locker rooms) are often a target for thieves. Some larger rooms may have multiple entrances/exits. In such cases, I will install an “exit only” lever on less used doors to reduce the possibility of break-ins. These photos show the outside and inside view of a door to a bicycle storage room.
