I installed 3 of these latch guards on the aluminum entrance doors of a condo. All of the doors had an electric strike and an Adams Rite deadlatch. Without a guard, all of the locks could be manipulated with a knife or screwdriver to open the door. The deadlatches on 2 of the doors were damaged so I replaced these at the same time.
